We are very proud that Clobotics SmartView Cooler Solution has won the prestigious, The Coca-Cola Company 2019 Global Customer & Commercial Leadership Innovation Award, announced by Coca-Cola Head Office in Atlanta last week. This is the first time in history a technology solution from China wins this global honor.

Coca-Cola China and Clobotics have jointly developed this revolutionary innovation in the past 2 years. For the first time, SmartView fully captures causal data of the cooler one transaction at a time. It also ensures the functionality and safety of the asset through real-time location and temperature data. In the end it maximizes return on investment for Coca-Cola owned cold drink equipment.

With the big data that SmartView captures on every cooler door opening, our clients are uncovering a world beyond the otherwise largely unknown activities behind the cooler glass door. Empowered by computer vision and machine learning technologies, SmartView captures and processes cooler images, compiles SKU off-take and cooler purity data. Real-time dynamic data across different product categories allow for optimizing assortment and planograms, resulting in greater sales to Coca-Cola and its retail partners.

In a case from a first-tier city in China, Coca-Cola bottlers saw double digit increases of net sales, and significant purity increases after implementing learning from SmartView data. As endorsed by our Coca-Cola China partner, the actual use cases have validated the accuracy and speed of our proprietary technologies, which are now ready for significant scaling in China and worldwide.

Clobotics would like to thank its partners and colleagues that have made this achievement possible. We are looking forward to working with existing and new partners to bring more exciting technology solutions to the retail industry.
