The event brought developers, turbine manufacturers, insurers, technology companies, service providers, and policymakers together to discuss how Asia-Pacific can scale wind energy while maintaining reliable long-term operations.

The location reflects how wind projects are delivered today. At the summit, Clobotics demonstrated how its wind technology and service teams connect inspection, analysis, and repair into a single blade lifecycle workflow. The goal is to help customers move from isolated inspection reports to a more complete view of blade condition, risk, maintenance history, and next action.
From blade inspection to completed repair
Wind operators do not lack inspection data. The harder problem is turning separate inspections, reports, and repair campaigns into an operational record that teams can trust and use.

External blade inspection with IBIS
IBIS uses autonomous drone flight to capture repeatable, high-resolution evidence across the external blade surface. A complete turbine inspection can be performed in approximately 15 minutes, with defect detection accuracy down to 1 mm and no inspection crew working at height.
Internal inspection and lightning protection testing
External imagery is only one part of blade condition assessment. KIWI travels inside the blade to document conditions such as laminate cracks, bondline fractures, and root damage. Hummingbird performs UAV-based lightning protection system testing from receptor to blade root, helping reduce dependence on labour-intensive rope-access workflows.
Asset intelligence with IRIS
IRIS brings inspection findings together into a traceable asset record. Findings can be mapped by location and severity, reports can be prepared for operators, and inspection history can remain available across turbines, sites, and campaigns. This gives teams a way to follow how blade condition changes over time rather than treating every inspection as a separate event.
Robotic leading-edge repair with SPARROW
SPARROW carries the workflow from diagnosis into execution. Delivered to the blade by heavy-lift drone, the robot performs surface preparation and leading-edge protection application without technicians working at height.
During a recent commercial offshore campaign, the team completed work across 29 blades in six days, including a 38-minute repair on one blade and six blades completed in a single day. These results illustrate the practical value of connecting inspection findings with a repair method designed for repeatable field deployment.

Why execution capacity matters in Asia-Pacific
Asia-Pacific is not one operating environment. Turbine fleets, climate, geography, regulation, port access, and the availability of qualified service teams vary across markets. Offshore assets introduce additional logistics, weather, vessel, and safety constraints.
